Valerie Elneser

Hi! I’m Valerie, a Master’s student in Forensic Psychology at Maastricht University with several years of experience teaching, mentoring, and supporting students of different ages and learning styles. I offer tutoring in Spanish, English, and music, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual goals, level, and preferred way of learning.
I have previous experience as a Spanish Teacher Assistant, where I helped create lesson plans and curriculum materials and provided individual tutoring to students who needed additional support with Spanish speaking, writing, and comprehension. I also have extensive experience working with children and young people, including students with special needs, which has taught me how important patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each learner can be.
For Spanish and English lessons, I can help with conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, homework, and general language confidence. Lessons can be structured around schoolwork or designed for students who simply want to improve their language skills. For music, I can support students with vocal music and foundational music skills.
My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. Rather than using the same approach for everyone, I adapt each lesson to the student and combine structured learning with interactive activities and practice.
