My lessons are shaped around what you actually need, whether that's understanding a tough concept for an exam, working through a research paper, or just making sense of psychology in everyday life. I start by figuring out where you are and what you're working toward, then we build from there.
I don't do the textbook-and-lecture approach. Instead, we break down ideas together using real examples, case studies, everyday situations, media, even memes if that's what makes a concept click. I studied both social and clinical psychology at university and I've written extensively about topics like the psychology of totalitarianism, AI and therapy, and how people process conflict, so I bring real-world connections into every session.
If you're preparing for an exam, we'll focus on how to structure answers, understand what's actually being asked, and retain information without brute-force memorization. If you're writing a paper, I'll help you build a strong argument, find the right sources, and sharpen your analysis. And if you're just genuinely curious about why people think and behave the way they do, honestly, those are my favorite sessions.
