High School and University Level Biology Tutoring - 10 years of experience

Hi there!
I'm Luis, a Research Microbiologist with a decade of
experience teaching highschool and university level Biology, with
specialties in genetics, microbiology, molecular biology and
biochemistry.

As a published researcher with significant experience in
academia, I am also able to guide you on scientific writing, oral
presentations, scientific poster preparation, and general mentoring
and guidance on the challenges and complexities of a career in research science. I use visual aids and diagrams, a collaborative real-time whiteboard to improve our interactions online, and explanations and questions with reference to real world examples to communicate concepts to my students. I also employ the Socratic method (questioning students and a conversational format) to encourage critical thinking and independence in your studies.

I am able to hold lessons online or in-person and can book mornings,
afternoons or evenings, depending on the day of the week. Lesson price is per 60 minutes.
