An English teacher who helps learners experience the process of learning Real Language through Living

I have been teaching English for nearly 35 years, using a critical approach to teaching and learning.

I believe that real learning is a process born out of living, not simply being alive. Therefore, together with my students, I try to make the classroom a fertile ground for experiencing life, communication, expression, and learning.

A central idea in my teaching is “making moments.” A moment is not simply a period of time in a lesson. It is a meaningful, multidimensional experience in which the learner, as an integrated human being, thinks, feels, communicates, makes decisions, and reflects.

For me, language learning should go beyond memorising vocabulary and grammar. Language is a channel for real communication and authentic expression. Students should be able to use language to bring their experiences, thoughts, questions, and ideas into communication with others.

My lessons therefore involve dialogue, questioning, reflection, active participation, and meaningful communication. I encourage students to examine their assumptions, express themselves honestly, listen to others, and learn through their own experiences. Mistakes and difficulties are not simply problems to be corrected; they can become opportunities for reflection and learning.

I believe that true communication supports human development in its emotional, social, and intellectual dimensions, while authentic expression allows learners to bring elements of their own lifeworld into existence and create the possibility for change and growth.

My role is not simply to transmit knowledge. I work together with my students to create the conditions in which learning can emerge from experience.

This is the approach I have developed through nearly 35 years of teaching English in different educational settings.

In my classroom, we do not simply learn a language. We experience it, use it, question it, and make it a means of real communication and authentic expression.
