English Tutor who teaches people of all ages and from all backgrounds

My name is Binta Touray. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with a minor in Arabic from Hunter College and a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health. I have experience tutoring Arabic during my undergraduate studies.

As a tutor, I focused on creating a comfortable, engaging environment that encouraged students to ask questions and express difficulties. I focused on individual needs, whether through group sessions or one-on-one guidance, and emphasized comprehension, vocabulary mastery, and conversational fluency. My goal is to help students feel confident and supported as they build their skills.
