Teaching has always been a genuine passion of mine. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorization to develop a deeper understanding of psychological concepts, research methods, and scientific thinking. My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual goals, whether that involves improving grades, preparing for exams, understanding difficult topics, completing assignments, or receiving guidance on research projects and dissertations.
As an MSc Clinical Psychology graduate and current MSc Neuropsychology student at Utrecht University, I bring both academic knowledge and practical experience to my teaching. My background includes clinical internships, psychological assessment, counseling experience, and ongoing research in neuropsychology, interoception, emotion, and anxiety. This allows me to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications, making learning more meaningful and engaging.
I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and open discussion during lessons. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through concepts step by step, helping them build confidence and develop independent learning skills. Depending on the student's needs, sessions may include explanations of key theories, case examples, exam strategies, academic writing support, statistics (SPSS/JASP), research methodology, or thesis guidance.
My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and achieving their academic potential.
