Teaching English is my profession, hobby and big passion.
My lessons are built around one simple idea: every student is different, and teaching should reflect that. After 26 years in the classroom, I have learned that the most effective lessons are those that feel personal, purposeful, and engaging.
I use a communicative approach as my foundation — meaning we talk, discuss, debate, and interact from the very first lesson. Grammar and vocabulary are not taught in isolation but introduced naturally through real-life contexts, texts, and conversation. I draw on a wide range of materials: authentic articles, literature extracts, podcasts, business cases, and exam practice tasks — always selected with the student’s goals in mind.
Lesson dynamics matter to me. I balance structured input with open practice, making sure there is always space for questions, creativity, and genuine communication. I adapt my pace and style to each learner — patient and encouraging with beginners, more challenging and analytical with advanced students.
My experience covers a wide range: young learners from age 10, teenagers at middle and high school level, university students, working professionals, and adults learning for personal growth. I specialise in conversational English, Business English, academic writing, and exam preparation for IELTS and TOEFL.
Above all, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more confident, more capable, and more motivated than when they arrived. Learning English is not just about passing an exam or ticking a box — it is about finding your voice in a wider world.
