My teaching style is centered around creating an engaging, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment where students feel encouraged to think critically, express themselves confidently, and develop a genuine appreciation for language and literature. I believe education is most effective when students are not passive recipients of information, but active participants in discussion, analysis, and discovery.
As an educator, I strive to make literature relevant and relatable by connecting texts to real-world experiences, contemporary issues, and the personal perspectives of students. I encourage open dialogue, creativity, and independent thinking, helping students build not only strong academic skills but also confidence in their own voices and interpretations. My classrooms are collaborative spaces where curiosity is welcomed and diverse viewpoints are respected.
My international academic experience, including studying at Boise State University in the United States through the fully funded Global UGRAD Scholarship, has greatly influenced my approach to teaching. Exposure to multicultural learning environments has strengthened my adaptability, communication skills, and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I aim to bring this global perspective into my teaching by fostering cultural awareness, empathy, and meaningful discussion in the classroom.
