English tutor for comprehensive/high school students

Hi, I'm Netta and I recently graduated from the University of Helsinki's Master's Program in Natural Sciences with extensive teaching experience: I have worked as a teaching assistant for over four years at the Department of Chemistry, I have been involved in coaching high school students aiming for the Chemistry Olympiad for the past 3 years, and in addition to this, I have substituted for science classes several times in comprehensive school and upper secondary schools, as well as held private tutoring lessons for those who requested them. The teaching is personalized for each student and I strive to ensure that things are really understood, and not just memorized. Because every student is different, my teaching style and methods vary from person to person, and we can discuss which approach suits you best. I prefer to focus on examples and exercises, since concepts are learned more deeply through practice than by memorization. I also present ideas from multiple perspectives to help you gain a well-rounded understanding of each phenomenon.
